meet Saundra
Shortly after moving to California from New York, Saundra discovered her love for Pilates. With a background in yoga and weightlifting, Pilates added in the key elements of stability and spine health to her practice. Her appreciation for Pilates extends far beyond the challenging workout it provides, as she particularly enjoys the compensation correction and foundational core strength it has given her. She is looking forward to customizing your session around your goals, whether it be aesthetic or functional!
Saundra has taken both the Foundation and Graduate programs at BASI Pilates in Newport Beach, and is looking forward to continuing her education with workshops. Having personal experience with back injuries and utilizing Pilates as one of the treatments in her toolbox, she is knowledgeable on modifications and assists.
Her favorite Pilates exercise is Mermaid for the beautiful stretch it gives to the lats. Second would be the supine hip series! She also enjoys scenic hikes, comfort foods, classic rock and spending as much time as possible with her doberman pup.
